Stand still

Hello people
This not a sad post, and this is not a happy post.
It is just a post.

Life is so fast paced, dont you think?. With 24 hours in a day, one wishes you had a few more(atleast sometimes, i do). And sometimes I wish that time would just stand still(very rarely).

I wished for time to stand still when i was in France, when I was in Angouleme not in Paris. That too, when I was at Lola's place Saturday Night, I didnt want that night to end. But such is life, 1 hour later, that night did come to an end. And the next morning, I had to let go of probably the best experience of my life.

Not now, but some years later, my life would be even more fast paced with work, and family. Someday, Id be sitting on some rocking chair* and think of all the things I have done in my life. The good things, the bad things, all the stuff and at the end of it have tears in my eyes.
How I wish there was some kind of in-built video recorder within us which would record everything, every moment that I spend in my life, and then I could play it back when I feel like.

Then there would be the people. The people I spend my time with now, the ones I am with now, would be gone by then except for my family. I just want some of them to stay along.

*Ive always believed that Rocking Chairs are for doing all this kind of thinking. I dont know what it is but Rocking Chairs always get you thinking. Whenever I sit on my chair, when I am along with nothing to do, I always get to thinking about stuff. About how life has been with me till now.

Hmm... I suppose this is all a part of growing up. I like growing up but then everything has its own pros and cons. Today, I am in school but less than 2 years later Id be out of school. I dont wanna get out of school, its just too much fun. After that, its all zipping. Truly Fast Paced.

Basically, I want time to stand still....

A Toast: to the mysterious thing called life!

This just in

Hello Friends
"This just in
It has been reported a school of fish have mysteriously died near some temple in Himachal Pradesh."
Thats what the level of Journalism has fallen to.. Death of Fish???
They actually called the police and stuff because the holy fih had been murdered(yes, that is the word that they used)
And guess which channel showed this news... None other than the best news channel Aaj Tak.
I had been telling my dad about the falling level of journalism in India and particularly that of Aaj Tak
See, Aaj Tak, first of all shows far too many advertisements. Then, it shows too many crime shows. Lastly, it repeats its news bulletins far too many times. i wonder why they give them the best news channel award always

I had been waiting for a day to come when i would hear
" Dilli ke, _____ nagar ilake mein ek kaale rang ke kutte ki maut ho gayi hai. Maana jaata hai ki woh kutta dil ka bahut achha tha. Is kutte ka naam tha Tommy(thats original). Is ilake ke bachche bahut dukhi ho gaye hain is kutte ke jaane ke baad."
translated it means
"A black dog has died in ____ nagar area of Delhi. It is believed that the dog was very good at heart. The dog was named tommy. The children of the area are very sad after the dogs death"

It wasnt a dog in this bulletin... ahh, well they were close enough

4. I shall not trust people. This was also added in V4.
5. I shall tolerate stupid babbling of people to any extent.
6. Basically, most features of V3, which ceased to exist as a part of V4 will be back.
7. I shall not give my advice to anyone.

Hangover

Hello dear friends
So my life is not going anywhere these days, except for the usual visit to the toilette.
Coming to the Hangover... its the hangover of the french trip. The trip memories are slowly getting washed away from my brain as I set into the life of Delhi. I do not want them to go away and hence I have this funny feeling inside of me. (yes rashi and ridhi, i figured out what it is)
This funny feeling, as formerly believed is not in my belly and is actually somewhere around my heart, making it feel very heavy.
So since, i do not want to forget about anything let me tell you stuff about the people there

1. Simon: My host... He was a pretty cool guy, I had lotsa fun. Though, him and his family, they smoked too much and now have given me what a doctor calls Allergic Bronchitis. His dad is an extremely good cook(Pate).

2. Delphine: She was one of those people whom we call blondes. Shes an awesome artist, I must say. She also agreed to marry me, which is because she wanted to see my hair(Fair deal, i say.). Shes not a blonde anymore coz she got her hair coloured.

3. Lola: LOLLAAAAAAAA... Yes she was the redhead who never posed sanely for pictures. She was lotsa fun too. And she always come to us when we shouted LOLAAAAA...

4. Marion: Nangias host. She was fun too. We danced together, the two of us, on our last night in Angouleme chez lola(hint hint)

5. Nancy: Bumper Boats... Extremely cute. She has the ability to talk like us Indians, with rrrrs and ddss and all that. She could also pronounce my name. As swati maam said, " Nancy's trousers are just like Gudi's.. just about to fall down"

6: Laure: I did not interact much with Laure but she still was fun, especially during the dance session chez lola.

7. Thibault: Ahh Utsavs Host. He was a very fun guy too.. he taught us the Karakakou.. Acted as if he doesnt know a word of English(he knows about 15 words) and now he is going to USA..

8. Mathieu: Abhinaya will fill this space..

As you can see by the length of this post.. i din have the time.. and im starting to forget stuff.. plus, ive already said a lot in my previous posts

Basically all the people were fun... LOTS OF FUN and its hard to let go..

Thoughts

Hello Friends
This shall be a short post
I just wanted to share some thoughts with the lot of you
I have realised that its no use liking a girl. Its better to like something like a car, atleast it wont leave you ever.
I have also realised that when one is in a depressed mood, listening to some good music helps. It worked for me last night. There was nobody to talk to(i wanted to talk to someone), so I finally went back into my room and listened to some good songs by U2.
I have also realised that when one is in a depressed mood, writing about it helps

Degrees of Boredom

Hello my friends
Well, there is boredom and then there is boredom. Now, the level of boredom being experienced by me these days is too much as I have nothing to do. Secondly, sweet memories of the french trip keep playing back in my mind.
I do not feel like doing anything these days. I have become a lazyass of the first order. There are times when I open the refrigerator door and see loads of chocolate in it but then I don't eat it... Too much of an effort.
I did not blog because..again.. too much of an effort
I've been reading the magazines which come to my house from cover to cover though. In the past week, Ive read 2 issues of Time, 2 issues of India today, Business today, Indian Management, Readers Digest, 2 chips, Digit, Voice and data and1-2 more. I read 2 issues together because... you guessed it, too much of an effort.
I have also been listening to a lot of songs. I keep looking for some kind of good songs but dont find them. I downloaded Speed of Sound by Coldplay, good song.
Basically, I have nothing to do.
I keep waiting the whole day for someone to call me, but througout the day... my phone doesnt ring, there are times when a certain Ridhi Kapur calls but those are just the times. I havent been calling people or sending them messages because i am in super kanjoos mode due to almost 20 minutes of ISD call made by me to my french friends.
I have bought a new watch. Guess it yourself.. too much of an effort

Sad Jokes, Ducks, and Monkeys..

I have been bored lately and the fact that I am not able to share my sad jokes with anyone makes me even more bored. So my boredom drives me to write a sad post.

Anyways, getting to the point of Sad Jokes. I would describe a sad joke as a joke which doesn't make you laugh but the person who is telling the joke laughs. Now, the level of sadness is judged by the audience. Example, Adarsh(Sad Joke Tycoon) tells a joke in the Mayur Vihar audience and people laugh at that joke, but he tells the same joke in our audience and then we dont laugh. And then Adarsh says, " That was funny yaar... you have to laugh"...
There is another thing about sad jokes, you cant tell them voluntarily, they just come out involuntarily.
So coming to my point, the biggest coincidence of the trip was that whenever anyone else told a sad joke, Adarsh got blamed for it and the thing was that he was always around when a sad joke was told.
Now the news. Adarsh is opening his own academy, which he calls
The Adarsh Academy of Sad Jokes, which aims to take in only 100 students per year and train them in the act of sad joke telling.

The duck. Vibhu Tewary
There were thousands of names for him. Ostrich, Rat(Splinter), Flamingo, etc.. Anyways, we finally decided on Daffy Duck. And he did go, QUACK QUACK.
This person, made people laugh. When anybody who started crying, or was about to cry, we brought Vibhu in and then the person was laughing.
I remember this one incident when Vibhu actually threw Fatima out of his room.. i had to see that. Fatima and Vibhu, the perfect pair.

The monkey, Siddarth Nangia..
Always with his Digicam.. MANAGED TO SCREW MY CAMERA ONCE.. He looked like a monkey
Ridhi kept saying, "Nangia's such a monkey"
He is making a DVD for all of us.
Coincidence. He wore the same colour T-shirt as i did.. always
I cant write right now... Im talking to Smelly Crap aka Inde Pinde aka Abs
